  • BEIJING - China reported four new cases Tuesday of the strain of bird flu which was previously unknown in humans but has recently killed two people, raising the entire of known cases to seven.


    The Globe Health Organization said Monday there was no evidence that the H7N9 strain could possibly be transmitted between people, but rrt had been investigating the outbreak.


    The 4 new patients in China's eastern Jiangsu province were all in critical condition and receiving emergency treatment, the Xinhua News Agency said, citing the Jiangsu provincial health bureau.
